Loosely inspired by a zany, true-ish story: In Overland Park, Kansas, in 1983, an 18-year-old misfit steals a 70 millimeter print of Return of the Jedi. Then, with help from a Tarantino-like video store clerk, he attempts to sell the movie on the black market.
